Areaware I Was Here Graffiti Side Table
Areaware Brooklyn-based designer Jason Miller is known for drawing on everyday aspects of American culture to create contemporary designs that could just as easily be conceptual art. The I Was Here Graffiti Side Table takes the ubiquitous practice of carving one's initials or thoughts into a public object and makes it the central theme of the design, thus taking a form of expression that is thought of as vandalism and elevating it into an art form. Adorned with actual graffiti found on New York benches and tabletops, the I Was Here Graffiti Side Table is made of graffiti-proof 100% post-consumer recycled plastic lumber and is available in four colors. Designed by: Jason Miller, 2002 Features: -Dining table made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic lumber. -Fasteners made of steel. -Available in black, blue, brown or white. -Overall Dimensions: 17" H x 21" W x 21" D.
